# Edit a List Record

## To Edit a record

1. Click on any column, on any row and an editable field will appear
2. Type in your changes
3. To **Save changes**, hit the `Enter` or `Return` key on your keyboard, or the `Up` or `Down` arrow on your keyboard, or click anywhere outside the current row.
4. To **Cancel changes** you just typed, hit the `Escape` key on your keyboard before doing anything that will Save changes.
